Our History
Malone’s Cost Plus began as an Independent in the very “Chain” competitive market of Dallas, Texas. However, at that time, the Chains were not willing to adapt to the changing demographics of the city; therefore, opening the door for a retailer such as Malone’s. One major advantage to being an Independent Grocer is the flexibility allowed to adapt to the neighborhood and position our store to reflect the multi-cultural clientele. Our employee base is recruited directly from the surrounding neighborhood of each individual store location, thus promoting familiarity and a comfortable shopping environment for the customer.
Our Community
Malone’s has always strived to be a partner for the community, focusing on hiring within the neighborhood, providing school incentives to school age employees. Throughout the years Malone’s has been involved with the Chamber of Commerce and local churches, and worked with media partners to provide information to the Hispanic community.
